Christmasing

This is "Miss Thing" looking quite excited on Christmas morning with all her loot. Bless her heart, notice the disheveled hair. It looks like every picture of me on Christmas morning
that my mother took of me, until I was about 25. Although, I'm pretty sure I was never ever that bright eyed in the wee hours of the morning.

This is the Johnson's (with Santa) on the day we had our family Christmas. We all went to church together in the Church I grew up in. It has special meaning to me as it's where Mom and Dad got married, where Jason and I got married, and it's where my dad's funeral was held. This was a great day although Addison was a little under the weather, so we didn't stay as long as we would have liked. We ate homemade Chinese food, that was wonderful and had a good time opening presents, and watching the kids play with their new toys.

This is my biggest brother Chad. He has a slight case of sleep apnea. Seriously Dude, you should really have that checked out.

Yes, I'm wearing the same sweater that I did the day with the Johnson's. Sorry, it's new, and
I have a thing about wearing anything new I get over and over, until it doesn't feel new anymore, or I get another new thing that I have to start compulsively wearing it over and over.

The cute lady sitting in the middle is Jason's grandmother at her 90th birthday party. All those happy people around her are the Schubarth's! Jason's uncles traveled from California and Wyoming to be there for their mom. It was a great night spent with family. The best part though had to be the huge sombrero they plopped on Peggy's head at Carlos O'Kelly's while the wait staff sang Happy Birthday. That's something you just don't see everyday!
